Highly concentrated, with full commitment and a lot of diligence and fun each of our Dutch “guinea pigs” Arie and Peter created a frame set in only 2 ½ days.
Master Michael, the Pedersen maker, learned: The future teams of two get more time.
Day of arrival is Friday
- Starting in the afternoon: theory and geometry of the Pedersen concept
- Determination of the participant’s project
- Sketch and equipment list for the proposed frame
- Afterwards arranging the workstation, become acquainted with the material “steel tube” and instructions in processing
Duration: 2pm – 6pm
Saturday and Sunday:
- manufacturing the Pedersen frame and fork
- Duration: 10am – 6pm with breaks as required
Saturday evening
- Dinner together in the restaurant
Monday:
- Finishing the created frame set. Adjusting of frame and fork
- Connecting and checking, finishing for the coating
Duration: 9am – 1pm
End of the workshop
The accommodation in hotels is arranged by participants. Michael is providing snacks in the lunch breaks (Saturday and Sunday) and coffee.
Expenses:
The course fee amounts to 1.086,00€ per participant.
The fixed rate for the material from the tube set over the laser pieces to the leather seat amounts to 860,00€.
Guesthouse and hotel in and around Erkelenz are possible to find for 25,00€ - 100,00€ per night.
