Tanja: On my gent’s Pedersen I can barely touch the ground with my feet. I want to feel save when I stop. Here at the coast I want to use technical support from time to time. Besides, “Bertje” our dachshund needs to have a place.
We created this lady’s Pedersen. For stopping she can slide into the free space between saddle and handlebar. Because of the special frame geometry, it’s possible to put your feet on the ground while stopping. The ladies’ mockup was applied for a patent in 1900 and made bicycle in skirts possible.
