The into the handlebar solid soldered fork got specially listed in the patent of Mikael Pedersen in 1893. When the rider had to take off his feet from the pedals while going downhill furiously because of a lack of freewheel, the legs could be laid down on the handlebar. Better don’t do this experiment!
The Cowhorn is the favorite handlebar of Mikael Pedersen. There is no photo of the genius Mr. Pedersen, that shows him on his bike with a “normal” handlebar. The solid soldered handlebar is not adjustable!
Modern controls are only partly mountable – rather something for a traditionalist who knows what he wants.
